Graham Gillmore

During the past 25 years Canadian painter Graham Gillmore has made an international reputation for himself across Canada, the United States and in Europe.

Following his 1985 graduation from Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Gillmore and his art school colleagues, Angela Grossmann, Derek Root and Attila Richard Lukacs, formed the artistic group “Futura Bold”. Within a year, were included in the “Young Romantics” exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Gillmore moved to New York City where he continued to build his career. He is a disciplined, prolific and highly successful artist who has exhibited annually since 1984.     

Gillmore’s work can be found in numerous private, corporate and public collections in Canada, the United States and abroad including the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, The Ghent Museum, Belgium, the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, Toronto, the Vancouver Art Gallery.
