My current body of drawings casts a philosophical light upon the notion of self as a self-contained, detached, and finite unit of presence. In challenging this perception, beings encounter and are encountered by other beings, by surrounding spaces, by even their own selves. Within this encounter reciprocity, exchange, and dissolve unfold as bodies negotiate boundaries. Bodies interweave their way into and out of an ambiguous tapestry of presence.
