Reminiscenza

The visual information for this body of work was influenced by sculptures I have observed first-hand in Italy and Germany. For example, Benvenuto Cellini's Perseus at the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence and The Great Altar of Zeus in Pergamun at the Staatliche Museum in Berlin. These are personal observations and interpretations of wonderful masterpieces which have given me great inspiration. In this work, I attempt to create a new visual language…while still being in a state of reminiscence - remembering things past.
