New Landscapes
February 1 - 24, 2007
Opening February 1, 6-8 pm
My new group of imaginary landscapes represent a deliberate
change of focus, form, genre, and pallette from my work since
the millenium changed. They have allowed me to contemplate and
interpret the exterior world around me in a new way, more an
articulation of feeling than of structure.
They celebrate chance and accident. In other words, they have
emerged without much intervention, not as an act of will but
as the fruit of play. I have purposely kept them simple, loose,
and fresh. I hope they will bring pleasure to the beholder as
they brought me pleasure in the making.
