The
Filofax celebrated its 84th birthday on June 6, 2005. The Filofax
— short for "File of Facts” — was designed
by the British during the First World War. Early adopters of
the Filofax in the 20th Century included officers of the British
Army, followed by members of the the church and universities,
and later by journalists, judges and doctors.
Dennison uses the Filofax to incorporate elements of natural
history, science, the human figure and architecture. His journals
are containers for a myriad of ideas taken from news clippings,
calligraphy, photographs and the world around him. Select the
