House, UBC Excerpt from installation ceremony: "It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Chancellor Place, to mark the official installation of the Mentors by Michael Dennis in front of Chancellor House - the first of six planned buildings by Intracorp within the Chancellor Place neighbourhood. I recall reading about Michael Dennis’s transformation from the world of academia at Harvard and UC Berkley as a medical school professor to exploring his artistic passions here in BC on Denman Island. Michael seemed like he may be a good fit for an installation at UBC. "Seeing Michael’s work that is so beautiful, sophisticated and natural, meshed exactly with our vision of Chancellor Place. I think we can all agree the marriage of beautiful art and architecture here has created something quite spectacular.
