The Cinnamon Macchia is color.... layer upon layer, one for the interior, another for the exterior, along with a contrasting lip wrap, dusts and small chunks of glass called "jimmies". Its oddly shaped, yellow form is dusted with a red pigment and has a clear body wrap, with blue jimmies added to give it the spotted effect. Each piece is approximately 6 inches tall and signed by the artist.

The Paris Blue Basket Set exemplifies the beautiful form and fluidity of Chihuly's Basket Series which was inspired twenty years ago by the rumpled and somewhat misshapen appearance of Indian baskets in a museum collection. The largest of the three elements measures approximately 8 inches tall and intimately cradles two smaller elements. Each handblown Paris Blue Basket Set is signed by the artist.

Parrot Green Persian Set is a wonderful example of this extraordinary series. The graceful open form enfolds an eccentric smaller piece that curls out and draws us in—reminiscent of an entity in nature. Each handblown part is outlined by a vibrant red lip wrap. The set measures approximately 7 x 11 inches and is signed by Dale Chihuly.

The Ruby Macchia represents the grand and wonderfully vibrant Macchia series. Its fluted form, brilliant red on the inside and iridescent lavender on the outside, is finished with a lime green lip wrap. "Jimmies" small chunks of glass, are fused onto the exterior to add the spots. This colorful Chihuly is approximately 9 inches in height and signed by the artist.
