As Canadians, we talk about the weather — a lot. We are a fortunate country to have in many places four seasons that are distinguished by the tree canopy above us. From lush green leaves of summer, crisp coloured foliage of fall, delicate winter snowscapes through to the pinks, whites, yellows and soft greens of spring, the trees are a protective, dynamic interface between life on the surface of Earth and the open universe above.
